What about Lulu's Motivational Colouring Story Books for Kids?
Lulu's Motivational Colouring Story Books for Kids are a series of kiddies motivational books which use each book in the series to highlight one simple lesson that kids encounter in their everyday lives. They motivate kids to do the right thing no matter the issue and do these using fun rhymes to drive the message. It is double the fun because kids can also colour in the pictures while they read the hardcopy version!
In each book, there is a note to kids as well as a note to parents/guardians explaining the intent of that book. It also gives a compilation of all the catchy motivational phrases within the book at the end of the story as a reminder of the lessons taught. Hopefully kids all around will memorise these and use them as guides.
The first page ALWAYS starts this way as the intro to the story.
Lulu & Ify
The main characters are two little Nigerian girls - Lulu and her best friend Ify. They are based in Nigeria and are in primary school. Lulu is a very confident and friendly little girl while Ify is not as bold as her friend but has a big heart. Both girls represent our brave and timid side within us. We usually have this conflict within ourselves of what we feel we are capable of and the not-so-sure side of us that doubts or sees the difficulties in front of us. They have a host of other Nigerian friends that feature in each book.
Lulu's Motivational Colouring Story Books for Kids series is written by Cynthia Osunwoke. There are two books in this series so far titled Lulu and the Study Crew and Lulu and the Big Bad Boy.
